Ordered new vRS hatch on 9/3/11, still no confirmed build date, is this normal?

Welcome to Briskoda, yes the wait time is apparently very looooong, i was quite lucky last year ordered on 7/3/10 arrived 5/9/10. Have you contacted Skoda uk themselves for a build date as the dealers do not seem very up to date with build dates.

I was told when i ordered the car it would be delivered early July, so i bought a personalised 11 reg plate, looks like its coming during 61 reg plates, so i ordered another nondescipt plate, i told my dealer and they couldnt even say sorry!!

This will be my first ever brand new car!!

All i can tell you is i got mine 5th sep 10 , was rear ended on 7th sep 10 waited a month for rear end to be rebuilt , now had it 10 months and i still smile every time i start it up and pull away, its a brilliant car.
