Hi!!

After looking at and reading what people have said about the Fabia vRS I'm now seriously concidering buying a new one in the coming months.

I currently have two cars. A Vectra CDX V6 which is my pride and Joy and a Cavalier 1.6 LS which I use as a run about. I want to sell both of these and get one new / nearly new car (The Vectra is hardly ever used and being a V6 is very nice but a money pit).

I don't want to loose too much of the power or too many of the toys of the Vectra, but need something thats economical too. I have looked into a nearly new Vectra cdti, but they are massive and don't need the space. The new shape Astra is very nice but I could only afford a 1.6 or 1.8. The 1.8 has enough grunt for me but the fuel cons' doesn't look that great and the 1.6 I fear could be a bit underpowered.

Now I've discovered the Fabia vRS. Wow!! I've not driven one yet, but so far it looks great. I have hardly found anyone to say a word against it. I have driven the 130 TDi PD in a Alhambra and was impressed. I can only guess what it must be like in something less than half its size!!

It has plenty of kit (with a couple of options), fuel economy, power, build quality etc all on its side. All at the price of a year old Astra!!

I think I'm going to have to pay a visit to my local Skoda dealer
