Ok folks, so while I'm suffering my interminable wait I've been jotting down some queries to raise with the dealer, most of which I've gleaned from the forums. Appreciate any comments on my list, and things I may have forgotten to need to ask.

1. Anti-hijacking - I need to ask dealer to enable it

2. Courtesy wipe - ditto

3. Auto-unlock (after 10mph) - ditto

4. Indicator min-flashes - ditto

5. Dealer-fit bluetooth - dealer has suggested this (I didn't order the factory-fit bluetooth). Any ideas what kit they are suggesting?

6. Personalised numberplates - if I decide on one, how much notice do I need to give? Probably looking at a "61" personalised plate, so i don't want to order it unless I know the car will arrive before March!

Could be anything aftermarket, dension, parrott etc.

A few specialists retrofit VAG bluetooth but it's around £350, A parrot kit for £100 works fine unless your on the phone all day but that isn't really safety first these days.

Yay, just had a call from my dealer, I can pick my new Elegance up on Tuesday afternoon. I'd resigned myself to a much longer wait so I'm really pleased

Yay, I am now the proud owner of a new Fabia Elegance. Too dark and wet to do much with so far, but will have some bonding time with it at the weekend.
