Hi all, I'm joining up as I've got my eye on the octavia vrs as the perfect family transport...just got out of a bmw z4m which I'll miss as it was damn cool but more excitingly I'm going to be a dad for the first time in December so that's the new priority. Need something that can carry the wee one, plus crap, plus my surfboard so the octavia estate looks like a winner. I've yet to test drive one but I'm hoping it delivers a decent steer at a reasonable lick without the massive space penalty of my old motor! I think with a 2007 era estate should look pretty sharp once I've sorted the wheels and lowered the ride height to something more pleasing.

Bit more about me: 31, live in west london, work there too (marketing) but need to travel with work hence a car is needed. Like cars (with some light mods), making a decent meal, real beer and running.
