Nice Chamois? polish it? :)

Works for me

Yeah, use a chamois.

Or, go to a Tesco jetwash, and rinse it using their "pure water" cycle, which doesn't leave any of the streaks when it dries...

Rob.

Chamois and a good polish after every wash!!!!

Micro fibre cloth works for me! I don't use the mega expensive ones, but I bought a few from Netto for 80p each!

Incidently, I washed, polished & Diamondbrited mine a month ago. The water beads up & glides off the paint work now. Fantastic stuff - only have to wash the car once a week!!:D

1 - nxt car wash

2 - scratch x

3 - nxt tech wax

wash with the ultimate wash mitt

dry with microfibre drying towel

apply wax with the foam pads, buff off with the ultimate wipe

little bit expensive but excellent results

Flash Car cleaning kit..... as used by the Scoobie rally team... available from most supermarkets..

it is guaranteed don't like it and you can return it during the first year for a full refund.. and its on special offer.

imitation chamois. Been using one for the last few years and I never have any streaks.

As Jon TDI said, Diamonbrite the car first. Then wash the car as normal ( I use Mequiars shampoo) After you've rinsed apply the diamondbrite conserver. All these diamonbrite products are on Ebay - IMO it works a treat on my Black Magic. Then rinse the conserver off and use a squeegy blade to remove excess water. Finally, use a microfibre cloth to remove residue water and to buff up.

Rinse, wash with Autoglym shampoo, rinse chamois. Wax with Swissol.

Metallic Dark blue isnt that far off Black in the cleaning stakes, and Swissol does it for me no problems.

That can always be arranged ;)

This is the result of Diamondbrite followed by a coat of Meguiars Quick Wax. All dried off & buffed up with micro fibre cloths.

Really brings out the metallic flakes in the paint!
