boost gauge pipe

Featured Replies

aint to familiar with this and its my first diesel. so could anyone point me in the right direction (pics would be helpfull) of where to connect the pipe to? thanks :)

jd

P.S does anyone have a link to a boost gauge pod that fits on the pillar?

thanks again

The pipe will connect directly to the boost pipe via a tap, use a tapered tap so no sealant or nut is required which could be ingested into the engine

and where abouts is this on the engine?

Best taping into the plastic boost pipe before the 90 bed which goes into the egr

There is no were to connect a boost guage pipe to on a standard vrs, you either need the egr delete kit which has the take off built in or u need to tap into the plastic pipe next on the top (the one under the engine cover)

I have a boost take-off nipple on a Jabba Delete pipe however once you've tapped into the boost pipe, I took the tubing through the grommit behind the glovebox and threaded it behind the centre console to the air vent pipe via the fuse board / box (that feeds the driver side). I drilled a small hole through this upper vent pipe and fed the tube through there so I could bring it through the upper air vent in the dash board meaning I wouldn't have to drill through my dash.
