just wondering does the headunit come with the cage and fascia (that actually fits and looks good) or do i have to buy them seperatly?

I'm getting this fitted next Thursday. I'm told you need a different fascia as the Fabia dash hole is slightly larger than standard double DIN. I think it comes with the cage as there was no mention when booking it in.

I have the AVH-3200 in my car and it came with the cage and has a facia, which looks ok, but you will still need a small clip in bit from skoda. Part number is 6Y0 857 231 B41 and will cost you about 3 pounds

Ye I just fitted it this evening look fine with the standard facia and is very snug expect some blood lol and cheers for the part number dark saved me the hastle of looking for the right part

where did you order that part from because ive just looked on theskodashop.co.uk and its £10 when postage is added on and just to clarify this clips above the headunit

Haha yeah there was a bit of blood as the cage was a really tight fit!

I got it from the local dealers at the same time I got my mats.

I will have to go see the local dealer then were ever that is and maybe pick up some mats as I do need some aswell as price a few other things
