I may be wrong, but im sure my Octy RS used to have a warning buzzer that went off when I left the headlights an after taking the key out. It doesn't seem to do it anymore :confused: Can any one help with clues as to what might be wrong / what to check / whether it can be turned on & off etc. Cheers

I've got the same on my furby - it definitely had a warning buzzer but it doesn't work anymore. I'm guessing a fuse has gone or something?

May be switchable with VAG-COM?

:P Yep - that how I noticed the buzzer wasn't working as I noticed from outside the car that the lights were still on. Guess i'll have to check the handbook later to see if that gives any help - hopefully it is just a fuse.

Does the radio turn off and the interior lights come on when you take the key out? If it does not then it could be a problem with the S contact on the ignition switch, try a little bit of WD40 carefully and work it in with the key.

What about the warning sound that you get when the indicator is left on? Does that still work?

faulty door latch on the drivers door, thats the fault on our SDI getting replaced under warranty tomorrow

Having exactly the same problem here also ended up leaving lights on today!!
