Offical: Skoda Fabia OEM Mudflaps Fit vRS

Featured Replies

I started a thread asking if mud flaps could be fitted to the vRS and I got some mixed messages. Some said they could, others said no and people with the Estate said yes, and gloated with pics.

I went and bought some Fabia mud flaps to check it they did fit... Good news they do fit! It takes about 5mins to install each one but that's because the screws are awkward to reach with the wheels on. Its a simple take out screws, put on flaps, screw back in.

Front Mud Flaps are: KEA 700 001

Rear Mud Flaps are: KEA 710 001

Pics, glorious pics!

Good work!

Have to say I like the registration :D

I just have mine on the front and looking at your pic, I'm glad I chose not to put them on the rear (sorry)

Still baffled as to how some people thought they wouldn't fit. vRS has the same body as the pre-facelift meaning the same torx screw holes around the arches.

Really like them on the rally green. Many don't seem to like them but I believe it makes the car look better, wider and boxier.

Is that a dice on your tyre valve? hehehehe

they do give cars a bit more of a rallyesc look i think. a bit more mean looking. Yeah! best £3 spent on ebay ever!

Looks good

love the valve caps :p

yep looking good

Good job and nice pics.

Not a mud flap man myself, but glad it all fits.

+1 The fronts are ok, but the rears are too square and stick out too much. Would be ok with a bit of a curve on them.

Its amazing, I have spoken to 2 skoda dealers & both have said you cannot fit mud flaps to the VRS - have referred them both to this thread. :)

The dealer I'm getting the car from says they don't fit perfectly so will supply them for me to fit myself

It's because there is an advisory note against the parts on their stores ordering system. That says rear mud flaps not for Scout or RS . Of course the flaps actually fit, so there is mass confusion...

I think its more the fact you can buy them for pretty cheap and its a 5min job instead of charging you an arm and a leg for the mechanic to do.

Kinda forces you to either go without or get the garage to fit them for you as the pricing mark up will be huge.

I had mud flaps fitted to my vRS (before i got shot of it) and these are now on my dad's TDi, I quite liked the look of them to be honest and had no problem whatsoever fitting them.

Nice, and yes a cracking plate... :giggle:

Do these rear flaps fit the estate or is it a different part number? I know I ordered front ones and I'll try to order rears on Monday

Nope... you need Rear Mud Flaps : KEA 720 001

Fitted mine today. They fit better than the fronts, as there is a small gap on my fronts...

Thanks

Im undecided...

Maybe roll with them over winter?

Get them bought!! ;)

20min fit, and you'll be able to punt them on after winter..I'll post some pics later of them on an Estate.

Little tip when fitting the fronts turn the wheel to the opposite lock for max working space eg putting the offside flap on, full left lock
