They're a DRL bulb aren't they? Could it be that they're supposed to be LED? i.e. have you ever seen them in a non-LED variety?

Other issue could be if they're supposed to be long-life, and they're not stocked.

Yeti DRL's are the P13W bulbs, not LED's, and are supposed to be long lasting, but a couple of us have had them go within 2 years. Skoda are now saying they are not covered by the warranty, as they are bulbs, and they are more than £30 from Skoda Parts. One person has tried the LED's from America but they didn't fit properly and weren't Canbus stable.

Ah, I see. Is the supplied bulb from Skoda a 'normal' bulb, not an LED type? Any part info on that, or clue to original supplier/manufacturer?

I know a man to ask about this...

Any probs with this let me know, I got distracted whilst moving it :S

Original bulb is a standard filament type, and apparently made by Phillips, but they have stated they aren't available to the general market, yet.

I am wondering whether there is a comparable VW part, as I have a friend, currently on holiday, who works for a VW dealer.

However, all info is good.
