My new ride....

Off to Northampton tomorrow to celebrate my daughters 5th birthday with her then staying down there as I have a course at Skoda in MK on Monday, so I get a loaner for the weekend.

Is it wrong I see so much potential in this car? Do I always want to mod the different cars (Polo Estate, Fabia Estate, Felicia Fun etc etc).

If I had the money spare i'd buy it off the company when its time is done without hesitation, love it.

You know you want to.......and it'll make a great sleeper

Bit different to the Fabia courtesy car I got recently - the most basic 1.2 ever - sounded worse than SWMBO's diesel

I think the bumper flare is add on, same as the Monte kit.

Staff dedication or madness im not sure but the state of this car really annoyed me. We loan this car out, its brand new, we dont charge for it other than you use your own fuel which is fair enough but the way it gets treated is appauling. I took it straight away from work but normally they get a wash vac when possible. But the car was covered in dog hair (pets not allowed in loan cars)and there are spinters of wood in the boot where its been used for a dump run, marks on the headlining etc, its disgraceful tbh, I have to use seat covers, steering wheel covers at work on customers cars and they all get a wash vac, can you imagine the complaints if I used one of their cars to run some stuff down the tip, just not on imho.

Anyhow as im transporting my family tomorrow I decided to give it a hoover out at least

Some detailer and fast glass and its ready for tomorrow

Doubt at anyone at work will notice or care but I do.

Yeah...I know what you mean about the state some of the loan cars come back in. It used to make me cry when some of the high end motors loaned to quite well off types when their cars were in for service, came back looking very scratched, dirty and clearly in a distressed state. It used to cost us to fix often and people get very funny when you try to tell them it's their fault. emoticon-0106-crying.gif

Nice, looks quite good with the scout trims :)

Our dealer had a beige one - sahara or something I think its called?

I borrowed a Roomster in that colour off the local dealer with scout trim.

Have to say I really quite liked the look of it with that combo of colours.

If I was to buy another Fabia II again I'd be going for a scout...

Out of interest, which dealer?

Caffyns in Tonbridge.

They had an Octavia Scout in that colour too.

Cheers.

OP, how do you find the seats.

My concern was the white you can see through the coloured seat "mesh".

Quite unusual, looks like it could be a pain to keep clean do you think?

You up at the National Learning centre tomorrow then? I'll be toddling about :)

Also in cars with potential! How about the roomster scout, candy white! More potential than I know what to do with :)

I have the same Onyx seats in my Octavia Scout, I too was worried about how they might show up the dirt.

2 years and 20,000 miles later they still look like new.
