I've been looking around for a SS FMIC (pn: 6LL145804) and I have contacted David at Sere motors for his price as it was mentioned he was the best price on past threads, he quoted £310 all in and inc VAT. My local Seat dealer has said it would be £330 ex VAT. Are these really the best prices? The previous posts which mentioned prices, all about a year ago, said that it was £250 at Sere but still £330 at the dealers. I would expect the dealers price to go up but it appears that they have stayed the same whereas Sere's prices have increased. Should I be looking anywhere else or should I be happy with Davids price?

On a related note has anybody had any luck with universal pipe kits rather than the Forge pipework? If so what bore would you need?

I was speaking to dave today and the best he could do was £300 all in including bolts and brackets and local delivery which is reasonable

Also can anyone post up all the available links to to guides showing the installation process of these please, I think there are three Ive seen over time altho as usual cant find them now lol

What's meant by beading when joining the boost hoses together?

Where a flexible hose fits over a rigid stub, the rigid stub has a raised 'bead' to prevent the jubilee clip slipping past therefore preventing the hose from blowing off under high pressure.

So just make sure that the jubilee is catching on the rigid stub?
