Really frustrating....

Had the bearing changed at a garage on Saturday then the ABS went crazy. It was like driving on ice and the revs kept going up randomly. The mechanic has had it on a diagnostic and he took it for a run with it connected. There is no data being fed from the new sensor we fitted. Would you say it is faulty or the wrong part or could it be something else? Help would be really appreciated as the MOT is due this week. Anyone know any good garages near Bolton who could bottom this for me?
