Random thread: A couple of short car musings

Featured Replies

When I was walking in town today, I heard a Citroen C2 bombing away from the lights. Not sure which one it was but it looked as if it was one of the more sporty variants, but what took me by surprised was how "fruity" it sounded, very nice exhaust note. I think if I were younger and looking for a relatively cheap car I would give one of those a look.

Also, who the f*** thought it would be a good idea to design 307 windscreen wipers like they are. It looks like something off a bus. One was following me today with its wipers on and I was almost mesmerised by how bus like it was

If I had a 307 I'd be modding the wipers to make them look normal. Awful, awful cars.

On the C2, might have been the VTS? Not been out long, had it on TopGear towards the end of the series against the Fiesta ST. Not my thing at all, after all it's just the Saxo updated . And it looks like you could just put it in your pocket when you're not using it. They didn't even bother with a centre rear seat position :D

With the 307, that's the French for you - they can't just be normal can they?! Suppose it's a design thing so you get the maximum amount of the screen cleared? A few models appearing that do the same too, new Seat Toledo for one.

Those are my comments on your musings anyway :)
