Featured Replies

hi there im ady and im new too this ive got a skoda fabia vrs 56 plate only done 41000 miles and ive got a really high piched squeel coming from my turbo when it is cold and sometimes when it is warm i think maybe its the ball bearing in there im just wondering if there is anything i can do to sort it as i dont want too buy a new turbo!!! maybe some special oil i can squirt in there..... if any one can help it would be very much appreciated... the noise also sounds like a brake squeel noise.. please help as it is embarising... many thanks ady......

Does it only do it for a while and then go away?

the bearings dying nise is more like a "police siren" noise, rather tahn what you describe.... (and my fiat did that for 40k without blowing up, OE turbo made it to 105k and I only changed it as a precaution, it never blew!) gillywibbles octy did the police siren for many 10'000's of miles before blowing too......

the way tou describe it soundslike something other than turbo...

Welcome to Briskoda
