Lovely to see old friends again and make new ones too. I had a great time.

Thanks to Tigger for organising the meet and to the residents of Caravan 139 for hosting the evening bash!

The tank of fuel I got (£30 only) for the meet worked out at 48 to the gallon in the end - not bad considering the spirited driving that was had at times. I found a cracking road down over Exmoor and along the river Exe back home. Might have to try and rediscover it another day!

Ive just got home... luckily after the Skazda/Maoda got a good kicking up the M6 it was kind enough to wait until id got into the carpark before the top rad hose let go in a spectacular fashion... *boom!*

RIIIGHHT!!! lol. got back and thought i best sort through the photos!!! lol. have treid to blank out numberplates-sorry if i missed some. wont put all the pics here cos there are loooads!!!!

but had a brilliant weekend! and Chris.C-you are a legend!! lol. and wappy-ta for the trip to waitrose! and Mrs Wap-sorry about the spider thing from me and chris i think!! lol. also Col-thanks for being my taxi on the sunday!!!! had a great time-those roads were made for you car!! lol

I have decided that the next WSM meet will be the weekend of Saturday 31st March and Sunday 1st of April,

Also the sunday morning could be interesting, April 1st

Not sure of the plan yet as a pier visit will mean we will be paying £6 parking along the seafront. Would people pay £6 parking to walk along to the pier?

Could easily all park somewhere outside the town, and go into cars to spread the parking cost.

This weekend has been brilliant, just what I needed.

Fantastic to see lots of old faces - and plenty of new ones too.

Sounds like we missed some interesting driving roads on Sunday, but we managed to catch up with Sarah (who is still as awesome as ever) and Mark on the way home for an extended Sunday lunch instead

Heavy traffic on the M5 / M6 did wonders for my fuel consumption - I did the whole weekend on one tank - 532 miles @ 44.97 mpg (brim to brim) will do nicely!

I have been so busy lately that I didn't even know that the meet was on. I had just come back from Alton Towers with the family and had popped out to get some shopping in Burnham-on-Sea, and being a Skoda spotter I noticed a very high concentration of Skodas at East Brent roundabout...then a white Fabis vRS flashed me! This is when it dawned. Did anyone see a Race Blue Facelift Octavia vRS on Saturday afternoon coming the other way?

Hopefully next time I will join in! :thumbup:
