Was the Heak soak on a bog std cone filter stuck on a MAF or a proper CAI..

Heak soak on a CAI does surprise me too.

Good question, I *think* it was the jabba type which has the surround in the engine bay, this was over 5 years ago mind so I may be dreaming most of lol

Bit of a mention in here http://briskoda.net/...post__p__590503 I think it's safe to say EddyH knew his stuff lol

Some old names in that thread lol (anyone here now remember Snoopie ??) and some mentions of high speed antics

Edit ....Just found this http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/74325-smoothing-air-box/page__p__899091__hl__smoothed+airbox__fromsearch__1#entry899091

I'm in there in younger days lol

There are a few names in there from the past...NCarring snopie.

Still not convinced he was talking about CAI and really meant a cone slapped onto MAF. I can clearly understand a power drop with those bolt on jobbies to the MAF. I did get good results with a smoothed airbox and 3" feed with a Green panel, ceratinly better then std airbox, but i seem to get better response from my CAI.
