SE Leather Interior...

Featured Replies

Any idea where I can get a set of SE leathers from?

What sort of price are they?

I've been advertising in the "Wanted" section for ages!

My car has airbag seats, the SE seats do not have airbags. If I found a set, can the seat airbag sensors be disabled by VAGcom? If so, what's the code for a Mk1 Fabia vRS?

I don't really want to bodge it with a resistor!

Many thanks in advance!

Given they only made 1,000 its going to be very rare to find a whole set. What about just getting yours retrimmed at the Seat Surgeons? This will also resolve your airbag worries too. :)

Join the other 100 million furby owners hunting these down mate, Only way you can is look for a smashed up se. They are cursed so they do pop up but again dont bank on it. Other than that look at other cars in the vag range that will fit so ibiza, polo. Or get a retrim. When they have been sold set aside at LEAST!!! £600 but most people arnt daft and know that they are wanted.

I have Oem leather Which I love, could you not get a set of covers from the dealers? From memory it was £1200 option

Why muck about?

Get 'em retrimmed and they'll be like brand new.

And you can choose thread colour, piping,

badge position and stitching etc

giving you a set that nobody else has.

2nd hand set will probably show wear on the drivers seat.

Cool. Just need the side airbag deactivation code now. Any ideas?

I don't believe you can deactivate them, but I might be wrong.

Well I found a set of SE leather seats and purchased them. Just got to fit them now!

Just spoke to a friend who works in VW, side airbags can be deactivated via the ECU. Hopefully getting the work done Monday. Failing that I will resort to the resistor trick! :)

Hmm, it would appear you log in to 15 airbags, then in 10-adaption you go up the channels in order and can change 0 to 1 where you want airbag deactivating. I might take a look at my own car for this. Not sure this gets rid of the light though when a cable is left disconnected.

1 - passenger front

2 - driver front (steering wheel)

3 - passenger side (seat airbag)

4 - driver side

5 - passenger belt tensioner

6 - driver belt tensioner

7 - passenger head

8 - driver head

Wtf? Swear it's impossible to find SE seats! Guess not... Well done!

Thanks for the info Dev! I will see if I can try that out when I can meet up with my VAGcom owning friend! :)

Ros, I got lucky. Very lucky. Already had emails offering me silly money for them!

....and I said I wouldnt modify this one. I blame Briskoda.

Already I have done:

Genuine SE Leather

Kamei Armrest

Genuine Headlight protectors

Genuine Dog guard

Genuine Rear Sunblind

Tinted windows

Private plate

Genuine Seat Front Strut Brace

Genuine Skoda MFD Sat Nav

Genuine Ipod Kit

Genuine 6 disc changer

Genuine 16" vRS alloys (back to standard oem look!)

JOM Coilovers

on top of the mods the car already had:

Remap

Green Filter

Full Miltek Exhaust

Seat 160 intake

Xenon conversion.

Not a bad spec now! ;)

Looks like I will have to find a buyer for my Standard vRS seats.....with Airbags!!! Lol. Somehow I must get around to ebaying them, my pre facelift lights, dash storage tray, Weitech lowering srpings, and various other vRS bits and bobs I have cluttering the shed. Roll on free listing weekend!!! LOL.

How does the arm rest fit in place?

Have you got any pictures of it?

Easy install buddy: Undo the inside rear mounting bolt on both passenger and driver seat, lift seat a little, slide armrest into place above the 2 mounting holes in car, place boths seats back down and screw 2 bolts back in. Probably took me longer to write this than install!

This is it, except mine is black plastic with matching vRS white seat material on the top.

Soil?

What did you pay out of curiousity?

Soil?

Usually the only leather going is from a written off SE

To write off an SE the experience may SOIL the seats either yourself or from the mud coming in from the upside down roof :-)

What number did you get then

Are you bringing the car to the Briskoda Action Day @ Castle Combe on 10th Sept? :) Sounds a nice car!

If I'm not working, I think I might just do that!

Just spent the last hour listing the above parts on eBay....all auctions starting later on tonight. Hope someone on Brisky has a use for them! :)
