Its a bit hard to tell but they've changed the Skoda badge to a BMW one and took off Fabia and replaced it with typeR!!

Never seen a BMW Type R... Looks remarkably like my Skoda Fabia VRS?!

Na they never spotted me. Thing is, it aint a vrs either, the bumpers wrong. Each to their own i guess!

With these modification ideas for my lowly 1.4mpi Briskoda, you are spoiling me :D

not a vrs

Ordering a type r badge now :) haha

OK i unterstand maybee swapping badges to vintage skoda badges but BMW WFT :giggle: so either he know nothing about cars and thinks type r's are made by BMW or he's an idiot :giggle:

So that's where my badge has gone :giggle:

If I did it it would be to make a tongue in cheek statement about badge snobbery, and the "types" who might be more likely to drive a BMW

I am sure all Skoda owners know about badge snobbery  "Your cars crap just because it's a Skoda, my Peugeot/Vauxhall/Ford is better" etc, lol.

Didn't some guy do that to their octavia somewhere too? with the kidney grills! haha

He'd be a little cheesed off if his BMW / Skoda behaved like a Type R, my brother's has on 2 occasions had bits of engine fall off as he's been driving and looking into it he found it is something that happens quite often with Type R's!

They wern't " GOLD " badges were they :giggle:

lol, what bits?

Lol, isn't that meant to be BMW's answer to the awful Aston Martin Cygnet?!?

Before I read the thread I thought the cause for the embarassment might be the fact that his numberplate says 'wee'....

Yes, I am that childish.

If it was just the bmw badge I would find it funny for the right reasons, but as it is it looks ridiculous.
