Jealousy gets you nowhere and if they did one for the homomobile in pink you'd be first in the queue :p

Im with sy. Maybe get an evo IX spoiler as well. Hehe

Each to their own

Love the colour not keen on the splitter rest of the car looks out of proportion but anyway what did you use to clean it with? (the detailer in me)

I used

Snowfoam

Megs Wash & Wax

Megs NXT 2.0 Wax

Autoglym Ultra Deep Shine

Autoglym Extra Gloss protection

But that was 2 weeks ago. This was just after a wash with Snowfoam and Megs wash and wax. Followed by a go over with Megs ultimate quik wax.

So wrong

I think its the best colour for the estate and it should be a legal requirement for colour coded grill surround and I like the splitter on it too but thats where it would end with me I wouldn't touch it again on the outside.

HOWEVER Carl I only just noticed that you have inflicted maximum violence on my eyes by having lil green dust caps on tyre valves!!!!! Such a mod will not be seen on the Blue Bruiser I can assure you! Not this call sign! :dull:

That's because the tyres are filled with Nitrogen. No other reason :)

The only plan I have left for the outside is a tap with the lowering stick.

Well a little update. I removed the splitter as above 50mph it causes vibration through the steering wheel. This is because I haven't glued it on I just used the screws due to being undecided on colour coding or not.

So if anyone is planning on fitting one make sure you use the glue as well.

Love the splitter mod.

Come on Chris.... you know you want one! :giggle:

Er........No

But I like the colour coded grill Steve...

Wonder how much it would be?

Depends how you do it. I bought a complete grille and got the Surround colour coded so all in was circa £200. For Just the colour coding it would be circa £60-70.

You could also do it yourself which would cost you a paint set which is about £10

anyway Chris get your grill done like Carls, the only modding you have done is putting a freebie shark sticker on your tailgate! :giggle:

Beautiful car!

I took that off some time ago...You need those glasses more than you think :giggle:

Anyway...the car is ALL I need as standard :moon:

Glad to see you've sorted the splitter Carl - looks awsome

Bloody weird all these negative comments about it - my original post had overwhelming positive comments. I reckon it looks cracking on yours and I think it would look good colour coded too in anthracite. I toyed with the idea on mine but think it would look OTT on a blue car so I'm leaving it alone.

Intersting about the vibration - I doubled up the scrws on mine and didn't glue and have no issues. Did a banzi run back from Weymouth today - 2hrs and nothing untoward noted - apart from a couple of plod in an unmarked 5 series that took an interest somewhere around Bere Regis!

What extra screws did you use Tony?

What extra screws did you use Tony?

OK the easiest way to describe would be the inset "ribs" or "teeth" which have a hole towards the front - I simply added one slightloy further back. Also added extra screws here and there, particularly on the sides.

Any pics of similar screws so I know what to get?

What benefit is the splitter?

What benefit is the splitter?

It makes your legs look shorter when you are stood at the front of the car
