evening all - new scout owner

Featured Replies

Hi,

Just thought I would say hello...new to the world of Skoda with a 2010/60 Octavia Scout 1.8tsi in storm blue. Collected it yesterday from Meaden's in the New Forest (friendly team and a genuinely hassle free sale) and now getting to grips with the Scout but initial impressions are really positive and loving the engine.

Not new to car forums - moderate www.s2forum.com which is my true car passion - own a 1992 Audi Quattro S2 but I think the scout could well be another little hidden gem in the VAG portfolio :-)

Look forward to getting to know the Briskoda community and learning!

Cheers

David

Hi and welcome aboard.

Great to have you on board - I was hooked on the Octavia Scout since having one for a courtesy car four years ago. I think its a deeply capable but understated car - still loving it. This forum is an excellent resource too. It doesn't matter how arcane your question/observation is you'll still get plenty of interest!

There's some pics of mine and others @ http://s801.photobucket.com/albums/yy291/Leslie_Newman/Octavia%20Scout%20Facelift%20September%202010/?action=view&current=IMG_0750_anon.jpg

Cheers,

Les.
