Nice, I like it!

Shame the interior bits you posted have gone missing?!? Would love to have seen how that combo worked as I really need to do mine badly :(

Cheers!

Yer god knows what happened to them, I'll stick them back on tomorrow!

Added the pics back from cleaning the seats up!

Good turnaround with the seats mate, that combo dod work well!

your's looked as grubby as mine do right now! (bit embarrassed to admit that but hey!)

How easy is it to take out the seats?

Don't own a vax or the like so looks like I'll have to hire a rug dr from b&q so may as well do the floor!

Cheers! Yer it really does seem to.

From the colour of the seats and looking around the forum we're not alone!

It was really easy just 4 bolts on each of the fronts but you need the spline sockets , like a torx but more teeth! The rears just unbolt from the floor and pull them out of the slots on the upright part if that makes sense.

I think that it's definitely worth having the vax or similar, you need one which has a small upholstery brush which i'm not sure the big rug doctors have?

Ok seems straightforward enough!

May have to look Into a Vax type thingy then if the dr won't do. Probably work out cheaper in the long run anyhow!

Yeh it is once you have a look.

This is the vax i've got on the vax website Got it from makro on a deal for like £45 ages ago, to be honest i've never used it before my seats but definitely worth having!

I'll stick a pic up of the water after sucking it all up out the floor

cars looking ace! changes the look of the car so much! where did you get the paint from and has it lasted?

Nice work, and a massive transformation from the start. The wheels and the coilovers look really good on these!

Seats are so hard to keep clean :whew: !

Thanks! :) I got the paint from halfords, went for plastic primer, colour and laquer and left it it ages between coats, I've got one chip but do do 60 mile a day on the motorway.

It is a good combo, bit the norm though looking for something different now.

They are, I'm going to clean them again and protect them with 303 fabric guard this time.

Realised I haven't updated this in a while. Not done a lot mod wise since June, i was too busy enjoying all the shows and the ring! Just kept it serviced, clean and a few small bits. Exhausted my phone for pics to show what i've been up to!

New discs, pads, fluid and paint was in order.

Knackered old rear.

Shiny new one, I didn't take a pic after painting the caliper.

Yeah I've seen him a few times, still looks good

Did the aerial go straight on or did you need to change the base too?

  • Author

Nope just the aerial, you have to trim a tiny bit of the bottom to get it to sit flush but that's it!

Sounds good
