Rear beam bushes

Featured Replies

Superpro team beam bushes have landed now (cheers Billy!) and planning to change them soon ish. Should I change the shocks while I'm down there, or is it not too much hassle to do that separately another time?

When changing the rear shocks it is probably worth renewing the bump stops at the same time.

you dont have to mate,

they are really easy to change. so long as you have the rear end off the floor and on stands it can be done in 20 mins.

I would renew the foam stops too while your at is. youll need a vice too as the top of the OEM shocks is flat sided.

are you doin it yourself?

That's that plan

I have squeaking from the rear. If I change the bushes and the foam pads would this stop it?

Depends on if the squeak is either coming from the rear beam bushes or from the top of the shocks. personally I would doubt that either would generate much noise.

When mine was squeaking from the rear it turned out to be a broken spring
