MonteCarlo-owners!

As the descirption say, I (and some others) are interested in your wheel-arches.

How are they fitted? Bolted on or glued on?

Want to get them for my vRS since the MonteCarlo isn't sold here in Sweden (making my car quite unusual ;) ).

Unusual definate ;)

If I had to guess, I think they will be glued on.

How much is a complete set in sweden?

Dunno, haven't bothered checking it up since I don't know if it fits / how it fits :).

Because I'm interested in those too you will definitely bump into a problem with them and that is the front and the rear bumper.

The Monte has a raised bumper as also a completely different front spoiler from the vRS making the flares end too soon.

Meaning that even if you get the Monte wheel arches kit you will have front and back parts of the kit that will not be possible to fit.

The only solution which I could find and (would love to know if someone with access to these parts could enlighten us) is to use front and back arches from the scout and the rest Monte Carlo parts.

To help further I'll illustrate below - the parts are colored in green.

So the questions are:

1. Are the scout and monte flares the same profile and would they match? (I got a suspicion they are.

2. Are the front and back ending parts of the Scout's flares separate or are they one piece with the front and back bumper? (hope not)

Anyways I hope one day to find an answer to all these and the parts of course.

Just a personal view on the subject, but a vRS with Monte black archs would look to me somewhat awkward...

The things is that the archs create the impression of a bigger gap between the tyres and the chassis which in turn makes the car would look like a Mini Countryman! Very much like this:

For any other version of the Fabia yes, but on the vRS this will reduce it's (already limited!) sporty image, so certainly an option to avoid for me. I have to say that If I saw one, I would be confused as to what the car's character is supposed to be... Crossover or super hot-hatch? :S

But then again we can't, and shouldn't, all share the same views...

+1. The 'wheel-arch' extensions on the monte are naff in my opinion. Make the wheels look tiny and lost in the arches...
