Does anyone know if the discs on my 2010 Fabia sport are covered under the warranty as I suspect there warped as there's a definite judder even when braking lightly

The car was only covered 9,000 miles since new and was registered in January last year

Id guess they will be classed as a consumable part?

Warped discs could be put down as subject to adverse conditions... Doubtful as to warranty replacement im afraid

I had this on a Golf and they were replaced under the warranty.

Distortion to cause the judder is not wear and tear and signifies a faulty disk so should be repaced free.

Maybe a light at the end of the tunnel!?

Let us know how you get on, I had warped discs on a Superb MKI which had covered 6,000 miles only to be told 'It's your problem, not a warranty issue' bought new pads and discs and did the job myself for about £120 as opposed for their £250plus figure!! :wonder:

i believe they are as i had my discs replaced under warranty

I know it's a long time ago but my dad got his replaced on his 52 plate Octavia under warranty. Probably his fault too as slammed on his brakes on motorway from 80 to zero and then sat with his foot hard on the brake so stopped the disc from cooling.
