Skoda symphony head unit!

Featured Replies

I took delivery of my car over the weekend and the cd player doesn't work. I've contacted the supplying dealer who has arranged for me to go to my local dealership for them to fix the problem then the supplying dealer to pay. The supplying dealer reckons a genuine new skoda head unit will cost them around 650-700 to replace. I'm not complaining because theyve said they'll pay for it to be fixed but... I just think he's dreaming! Surely a replacement is not £650-£700 to replace!!!

What do you reckon!

Probably new, but 2nd hand much cheaper £100 tops isn't guess.

The symphony was a tape and changer system what is wrong with the changer?

HAHAHHAHAHA Why?!

Just buy a nice aftermarket one. The sound will be better also.

Something like a Becker Grand Prix are a great looking OEM unit with fantastic function

Or for about half the price an Alpine :)

My symphony is a CD headunit, with changer capability.. No tapes here!

I'm not paying for it! The dealer where I got it from are picking up the bill but my local dealer is doing the work. They will only replace for genuine like for like. I've got a Sony head unit from out of my old car which I plan to fit at some point. It's a single din- what do I need in order to fit it :) thanks
