Two Yeti family

Featured Replies

We may be on the verge of becoming a future two Yeti Family. :o

I'm looking for something to replace my Fabia Greenline II and did order an Audi TT-RS. But so much money for a car I can't get much exitement out of day to day driving in traffic to work and back means I've cancelled the order. Plus I've got my bonkers mkI Fabia VRS already.

Every time I drive the Yeti I really like it.

It just does what you actually need so well... I'm a bit jealous my wife ended up with such a good car. :giggle:

To top it off I got my Fabia mkII serviced a few weeks back. They offered £13k for the Yeti in six months if we want to order another. So being a 1.2 DSG SE with a discount it'll have only cost us a little over £3k in 18 months when the time comes. I can't believe that a new car over 18 months will only lose about £30 a week. Bargain, considering we'll never even have to pay to service it due to it being on variable. :D Good old Skoda not making enough of them!

So it looks like the wife will be upgrading to a 1.2 DSG Elegance with the snazzy sunroof and I'll be getting a 4x4 diesel. And that's without my Mum's Greenline SE that arrives in about six weeks.

Looks like a whole family of Yeti(S?). B)

I know one thing. With a 4x4 one I'll be doing some offroading.

So I suppose the question must be...

Can you actually have too much of a good thing?

I keep trying to persuade the wife to trade her vRS for a Yeti but she loves the fabia too much.

Maybe one day ??

Wellcome to the club, I was in similar situation with sale of wifes Fabia 1 year ago,

and altought she want Fiesta I turned her decision in favour of another Yeti.

So I give her 1.2 and buy myself a 1.4TSI :giggle:

win-win

Must admit I still enjoy driving my brides 8 and 1/2 year old Fabia 1.9 Tdi Comfort which may be a bit old but polishes up well (Metallic Terracotta can`t remember proper colour) and goes like stink and has only done 46000 miles. As we say up here it owes us nowt and has been well looked after and will be great as a run about when she joins me in retirement. Mind you she fancies a Monte Carlo! :)

EXCELLENT stuff there BossFox, you go for it my dear fellow

Hopefully, the WHOLE street will turn to your way of thinking and your address will change to 'Skoda Road' emoticon-0102-bigsmile.gif

I love my Yeti... but for me life is just too short to have two of the exact same thing. I prefer to try out lots of different things and I'd rather live with something different but inferior on some levels, or exelling in others, than have two of the same thing with exactly the same shortcomings etc... (eg. small boot, no DAB radio, etc...) But that is just me! Enjoy the car once it arrives!

My wife really likes the look of the Yeti.

I'd love for her to have one... :)
