having some intermittent symptoms with my 2007 vRS petrol. the only mod i have is a carbonio intake.

recently there have been some changes in the power delivery when accelerating - instead of feeling the turbo kicking in and accelerating sometimes the acceleration is completely linear with no turbo kick-in and car feels slower. it happens intermittently and in different gears. i don't hear any odd whistling noises etc

does this fit with a split in the diverter valve diaphragm or is it likely to be something different

What your describing is what i had and it was a split diverter valve although i also had a whistle noise too.
