Oil consumption on 2.0TFSI

Featured Replies

If you guys are saying yours are going from MAX to MIN within 3-4 thousand miles, then I must have an issue when mines doing it in a 3-4 hundred!

edit: I've booked it in with local VAG Specialists I use and will see if there's anything wrong!

Quick update..

Iv let it idle for 10minutes and no blue/white smoke so 1 good thing.

However, afterwards I pressed on the accelerator at idle and was spitting out what looked like water splashes from the right exhaust, but definitely some oil splashes there.

Is this normal after idling for 10-15mins or definitely got a problem?

I have to say the engine sounds quite diesel like when it's idling at the moment as well.

Water splashes are probably just condensation in the exhaust.

This is what I thought it might be, but there's definitely oil mixed in there. Would you expect that after idling it for 10-15minutes?
