Think you win the "How quickly can you mod your vRS" award emoticon-0110-tongueout.gif

Not sure about the Evo 9 mod on the vRS though (BOV). Gets a bit tiresome on the Evo let alone any other car. But if you like it, that's all that matters. emoticon-0148-yes.gif

i would have gone for the forge recir vavle rather than blow off vavle, probably suits the Skoda owners image better.

still defo the award for the quickest modded vRS award.

time for an sport cat and cat back exhaust then a stage 2 map and you will be looking at 225bhp

Thanks :giggle:

Remap in the next few weeks going to put a few K on her first

I like the bov sound it's like snakes under the bonnet

Where's the best place for exhaust and remap ??

Shark Performance

Can't imagine why anyone would do that to a brand new car. Then again I am getting on a bit. Don't the engine mods invalidate the warranty?

Nice one on the new vRS

you have fitted some very nice mod to it

Looks great. Hows the induction kit

Thanks :giggle:

Shark Performance and for exhaust, this thread here: http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/213678-custom-vrs-exhaust/

Yea they do. Thats why i havnt modded mine

I wouldn't dare on a car still in warranty.

But i applaud the crazy ones who do...

was told by the my dealer the mods are ok :)

skoda are doing my remap  so will still be ok for the warranty

I'm guessing you mean a Skoda dealership is Revo'ing the car?

This will not keep your warranty with all Skoda garages. I think this one will agree to do work as they sold you the map but other Skoda dealerships may not.

Cars looking good pal :)

As we have examined in other threads, no it doesn't. Engine mods mean Skoda could refuse to repair the engine or affected parts if something went wrong. But you still have warranty for other parts. They can't just invalidate the warranty and chuck it away.

yes that sounds about right

anyone had a revo remap ?

if there was a big problem and needed warranty work putting car back to stock is no problem

im planning on having a new one every 6 months as i do 50k a year !!!!!!

planning on having a new what??? not a new vRS i hope, with a 6month build time i hope you already have your next one ordered.

not my first choice of car to do 50k a year in+.

I would have thought a 330D saloon or coupe but not Stiff M Sport model would be a good performance cruiser.

231bhp, 0-60 6.5secs 48mpg combined and good for 200k

comfortable yet dynamic to drive in NON Msport trim.

M Sport trim if you want to be shaken up

EDIT: FYI the 330D free revving engine can be mapped to 300bhp or with an exhaust a stage 2 map to 330bhp.

yes will order it after first service

it ony took 3 months to get mine with black pack

I'm having trouble understanding this too. What is the point in buying two vRS's a year? For one thing it's evidently not powerful enough anyway as it's been modified immediately, secondly for the £30k two vRS's would cost you could get a decent saloon.

Most odd. :wonder:

Porsche to Skoda?!?!? strange choice.

I love my Porsche's except for 911's. i've had 2 as well so it's not like im dreaming

Thats the kinda car that the BMW would surprise by outrunning.

I find it frustrating that BMW still suffers from an image problem, don't get me wrong i wouldn't have a E36 or E46 BMW

but all the new BMW's are very nice and driven by nice people....

All the old M3 *ankers now drive RS4 and RS5's and all the 318is wannabe drivers now drive 1.8tsfi A4 Quattros

I truly think the bmw driver image is very different now to ten years ago.

Yes very strange car owning habits displayed.

Owned a Porsche 911, Traded it in for a Skoda.. Moved house according to Pics too and getting through 2 vRS's a year.

and to modify a vRS with a blow off dump vavle it quite chavy yet a 911 is a rather grown up and boring sports car. very interesting contrasts.

If i knew any better i would guess that you have all of a sudden got 20yrs younger and moved into the suburbs

will px my vrs in for a new one every 6 months to keep the mileage down a bit and not lose to much £

the vrs is a fun little car that has surprised me in every way and has more than put a smile on my face

as my drive to work is a long one and we all know what the m1 is like at 5pm I don't need a big car to do 50 MPH in traffic

I know I can get more mpg from a diesel but I'm a petrol head at hart, if I'm in need of a bit of real power I will jump in my rs6 :p
