Latitude / Longitude, a lot of areas I go to don't have post codes but they do have Lat/Lon.

I know you can store destinations by Lat/long (when you are there) but I can't remember if you can set a destination that hasn't been stored.

Try something like http://www.nearby.org.uk/coord-ll.cgi to convert them before entering them.

Hi splat thanks for that, though the Amundsen is good I would have hoped for it to be more like my Tom-Tom, with Lat /Long, lane guidance, push pin mapping and map scrolling, to check your route in close up before you set off.

The Tom Tom was cheap £120.The Amundsen came with the car as an extra with Maxidot so can't complain!
