Superb mats

Featured Replies

Well our factory mats have worn through at just 39,000 miles , on the plus side I ordered a new set from here

I'd already got some for my mums Fabia VRS since the factory mats for the MK2 are dire and I'm pleased to say they look and feel much better than the stock ones and perfect fit plus a bit cheaper at around £40 delivered

I'm slightly puzzled by the negative comments about standard Superb mats. Had a set of 4 from my dealer plus a full size rubber boot liner and the lot was £75 which seemed very reasonable.

They have 'Superb' embroidered on them, so I assume they are the OEM ones and they seem decent enough.

I do wish it was possible to buy JUST the driver's mat though. I'm alone in the car most of the time so it's going to wear out long before the others....

Got to agree with you on being able to buy just the drivers mat, done 30K in mine now and most of thats been on my own so drivers mat is showing its age and other 3 mats are as new

Mine didnt have superb on them they were just plain

You can buy just the drivers mat for the Octy VRS so perhaps for the Superb as well

You had the dealer mats which are much better quality than the "Factory option" which have no heel protector or Superb embroidered on them and are to be honest pathetic!

FWIW Ambassador can put any lettering you want on the mats for a small fee the VRS ones for my Octy were £39.99

Can you list the spec/option of these mats, they look quite good to me?

The dealer set me up with a set of mats, with the lettering on, but no heal pad.

They are ok, not great, I was out in the rain at the weekend and the water from my boots went right through to the rubber mat that's built into the car. I did expect them to retain a small amount of water like that a bit better.

The rubber boot mat is great though, I have the flat one and it contains damp brollies and prams, and stops my tool box from moving around the big boot.

If I was moving anything wetter I would need one with sides though.

And a + 1 for been able to buy the drivers side mat on it's own, it's the only one that gets abuse for me too.

They are the super velour option , black with black trim

Best to phone as they dont have the Superb on their site

I ordered a set from Ambassador. Free p&p at the moment until Oct.2nd.

£37.99 for the set super velour and driver heel plate.

Phil.

Will have to start thinking about mats for mine, hopefully only 6 weeks away. Had "dealer" ones in the Octy and they were fine IMO.

Newer dealer supplied mats are rubbish. Poor fabric and do not last. IMO.

Thought I would add a pic or two of the ones in my VRS, remember they will add whatever lettering you like

Anyone been able to source a single mat.

The drivers (right) one is very worn but the rest are as new.

I dont want to buy as full set, just the one.

But Id still like to have it looking like the others so it would have to be a genuine one.

If your mats "leak", this might be worth looking into:
