Crucial 256GB SSD

Featured Replies

For sale is my Crucial 256GB RealSSD C300 SATA-600 2.5" Solid State Drive drive. Originally bought for my Macbook but shortly after decided to sell that to fund a new toy. Now selling this (and anything else that isnt bolted down!) :giggle: to fund yet another project! (movies ripped and streamed from a new NAS/mac mini).

It was bought back in January and is still boxed and factory sealed!

£235 including insured carriage.

Improved data transfers

Designed with high-speed synchronous MLC NAND, advanced controller technology, optimized NAND management, and the new SATA 6Gb/s interface, these drives dramatically improve data transfers for bandwidth-demanding applications like audio and video.

Push your performance

The improvement in boot time and application load times push performance to new levels at the desktop too. You will experience improvement across a variety of common tasks such as viewing and editing photos, video, music and other media, gaming, communications, productivity and security.

Memory Experts

The Crucial brand of memory has long been synonymous with reliability and high-performance. Our expertise in NAND process technology enables us to optimize the performance and durability of Crucial solid-state drives.

Guaranteed compatible

Crucial RealSSD C300 series employ a standard hard drive interface and dimensions, so it is an easy storage upgrade for most notebooks".

Wow.

That's some serious SSD.

I'd be tempted... If I had £225! lol

BTW. You won't look back after having a NAS drive!

I have a trusty Linkstation Pro 1TB with modded firmware running torrents and an iTunes server.

You plan to auto rip them on the mac mini onto the NAS then?

That's the plan. :-) I actually already run a windows home server/ripper but nits purely for the sonos audio system.

I'll price drop this to £200 if it shifts it in the next few days otherwise I'll pay the fees and go via that auction site!. £200 is a total bargain for a drive of this calibre.
