Hi Folks,

Subject probably been done to death but........car will only unlock driver's door with key; on opening , interior light does not come on!. Locking diver's door will lock all doors. Using passenger's door, all locks unlock and interior light comes on!

Guessing that the driver's door lock/micro-switch is worn and not 'making' as key moves barrel..........need new lock mech.?

Could be a dry joint on the soldering for the microswitch for the drivers door.

42k miles on a '99 car.... wow, that is not yet run in!
