Ride height after lowering...

Featured Replies

I've fitted kw springs and shocks (not coilovers) with a stated 35mm drop all round to my mk1 vrs.

The rear has dropped very nicely about that amount, however the front has hardly moved....

I fitted new top mounts and bearings and the old mounts were compressed a little in comparison however the front is still about 20-25mm higher then the rear....

Is this normal, should I have gone for the 35mm rear 55mm front drop kit?

Tris

The fronts always look higher than the front

With stock suspension, both my mate's vRS and my Elegance look nose-down on flat ground.

My vrs on stock setup looked like it was dragging its boot along floor, put coilovers on and with rear wound up to max its still same altho Ive got plenty of adjustment on front but dont want to go any lower as it already catchs bottom brace on speed humps,

Just a quick note what bump stops you using on front, did you but originals in half as when i fitted koni kit to my old corsa it sat on them at front because i didnt cut them down

I put the original bump stops back on as they were, it's only supposed to drop 35mm do you think that would catch... Don't want to have to take them out again was a mare to get in!!!
