I think it's just screwed to the pillar so easily changed.

The A pillar trim pulls off and the clip is held on with a single torx screw.

If you have curtain air bags then the pillar trim has a single torx screw under the little badge.

yeah its screwed to the metal pillar behind the a pillar trim.

Can the clip be fitted to the passenger side, I assume there will be a hole for the screw as Left hand drive cars will also have the ticket holder

As people have said, it is attached under the A-pillar trim. They used to cost less than a £1.

I purposely snapped mine off as I thought it looked awful !
