Sorry tibor, mine's an auto. emoticon-0112-wondering.gif

I take it the noise was present before the clutch was changed, and still present afterwards.

Excuse a silly question: was the clutch release bearing replaced at the same time? As far as I know, this bearing or the release lever is the commonest cause of noisy clutches.

yes, that has been also replaced. clutch pedal is still trembling, noise coming. service promises they will replace the flywill again. but they also said, the pedal-tremling was normal. i do not know what to think. I try to be contacted with the skoda factory.

Clutch pedal trembling is NOT normal. Dn't let them faff you off with that explanation.

When exactly the pedal trembles? If that happens between fully pressed pedal and fully depressed it's normal. The tremble appears when the release bearing starts engaging the pressure plate but if you continue pressing the pedal you'll see it wil dissapear.

Also the metalic noise when you release the clutch pedal very fast: it's produced by the colide between the clutch disc and pressure plate. It's also normal and I don't think it has anything to do with the dual-mass flywheel.

Cheers!

yes, trembling ceases at fully pressed/depressed pedal. But when crawling in the city, the trembling gets into my leg. NOT NORMAL! and there are yetis without this kind of trembling...

service says it is the dual-mass flywheel from which the noise comes. noise and trembling might be not in relation to each other. who knows?

i keep finding solutions...

Hmmm. I'm really interested if you tried other Yetis with THE SAME engine (doesn't matter if it's 4WD or 2WD, the gearbox and clutch mechanism is the same).
