flooding :/

Featured Replies

theres water coming from behind my dash on my pickup and flooding the drivers footwell, any suggestions where the source of the leak is, as i cant find anywhere it can be coming in :/

Could be the windscreen seal

I'd be thinking windscreen seals as a starter.

That's easily fixed by getting the screen taken out and put back in again after a clean up with new seals/sealant.

Other things worth checking are the routing of wires and cables and their grommets, plus the air intake system, although I'd have thought that would be well thought out to prevent water getting in.

check your coolant lever too, if its low it could be your heater matrix that is leaking

sorry that was meant to be level, not lever :/

I have had the same problem, when it rained hard the interior was flooded...

It turned out that the rubber water exhaust in the box where are the fans was completely obstructed, and so the water couldn't get out from that box and get into the car.

It's 8-10 clips, easy to check!
