Has anyone fitted seats from a Mk6 into a Octavia? I have come across a set of leather Golf R Seats that would look the part on the Skoda but not sure if they will be a direct bolt in. I assume the wiring harness will be the same for the side airbags and hopefully I can use the electric adjustment once fitted too!

Any help would be great! Really would love to fit these seats

Should bolt straight in, airbag connections should be the same but if they are not it's easy enough to rewire.

I hope so - I'm going to call the guy about the seats as soon as its daylight lol...just finished night shift, it's 5am and I'm on the net looking at seats lol obsessed

Rear bench could be a problem so you might be better off having the standard one retrimmed...............

I know it's just a picture and that fitment could be completely different....but from the looks of it - they looks exactly the same setup as the octavia seats...side bolsters and all.

just looked at the seats on google images, if you can get them go for it they look well nice and would do it myself if i could afford them.

The mountings for the base on the mk5 Golf rears is different to the mk2 Octavia. Try to get some pictures from the seller to compare with yours. Other than that it looks like the rear backrest should fit without problem.

I'm going to hopefully go see him on friday. I'll pull the rear seat out and see if that fits - if it does, I might quickly try a front seat to be 100%. Hopefully I'll pick em up for $1500 or 950 pound

I'm curious as to whether or not the wiring harness will match up also. Especially for the electric adjustment. The FL vRS must be running the same harness as the MK6 golf surely. Might have to enable electric seats via vagcom???

All MK5 Chassis (MK6 Comes under this aswell) share the same fittings for the front Seat's but not rears

I installed mk 5 golf seats without any mods and 50 quid for a full set ront and back was worth it but after a while the origianl skoda seats were put back in as golf ones lost support quick ..maybe try audi next !

Which model of Mk5 were they from? Not GTI ones I take it?

With regards to the rear backrests, I assume the outer bolsters on either side remain, then its just the back rest that is changed? I wonder would the bolsters sit flush with a Mk5 GTi rear bench?
