No the Octy2 shares it floorpan with the mkV Golf, just as the previous Octy did with the mkIV Golf.

I'm probably getting confused then. Sorry. Which car shares with a bigger version of the Passat then?

Superb is a stretched current shaped Passat that is sold in the Asian market.

Loz M8, you are spot on with the Phaeton connection, especially if you read this weeks Auto Express where they comment summat along the lines of "an interior quality very reminiscent of the Phaeton" and the fact that various items have been carried over; like the weird ignition switch.

Sorry I can't do better for the quotes, I've just watched Bolton lose in the FA Cup Quarter Final and would like to drown my sorrows.............. :(
