Picked up a Fabia vRS today

Anyone recommend somewhere in west central scotland area to get the timing belt and water pump done?

Would rather avoid paying main dealer prices.

tbh that's a bit further than I wanted to travel, the car did originally come from West End Skoda Broxburn though.

plus point with these folk is they are in Glasgow city centre. So dropped the Skoda off, went for breakfast, bit of christmas shopping, lunch, some more christmas shopping and then back for the car.

How did you get on, quite happy with their work?

Much did it cost and did you get the water pump done too?

I suppose ultimately time will tell if I'm happy with their work ie the belt doesn't break or the water pump leak. I've no reason to suspect they haven't done a good and proper job.

Very happy with the customer service. They went to great lengths to explain everything that had been replaced even showing me they had used the proper VAG spec coolant.

Timing belt kit + water pump and coolant change = 300+vat

I got 2 other quotes that were almost identical.
