Doors

Featured Replies

Does anybody have a part no. for the door clips as I damaged a few taking the door cards off the rear when I sealing up the back.

oh and the broken clips are still in the door is there a easy way to get them out as I dont have a clip removal tool?

Thanks

The part number is on the normal topic - we don't need another topic for this. I found it immediately using Google!

They break coming out of the door panel so they'll just drop out - no problems there.

I had a couple stuck in the door. Just pull them out with a pair of pliers.

Thanks mate, I was worried they would snap even more and fall down inside the door so they just come out with pliers.

Sorry - but I'd have thought it was pretty obvious. A clip removal tool wouldn't help in that context anyway.

Thats what I was talking about in the first place that I was trying to get the clips out the door not the door card...

Don't worry fella. People who have been around for a while sometimes forget that the idea of the forum is to help others. :dull:

Welcome aboard anyway

Thanks mate, the reason I joined was that I heard good things about the forum and how people helped on it.

Apologies - but I still don't see how you could have a "clip removal tool" to get a clip out of a door that wasn't just a pair of pliers or the like.

I hope you appreciate my link to the part number that you couldn't find with a simple search. And by the way the price will have gone up to 30p now that VAT's gone up.
