The GTI seats and polo sets look smart. Are they comfy and do they have lumbar support? I'm 6ft 4 and getting really bad back pain from my current skoda seats :(

I have a set of Polo GTi seats I was planning on putting in my vRS. But I found a vRS with leather.

I reckon they're the best seats hassle-to-cost ratio for the Fabia.

I used a direct fit Recaro sub-frame, made for a very straight forward bolt in job.

Provisionally sold am afraid though.

Although now they are going I'm having thoughts that I should keep them and sell my vRS leathers :S

Yeh true.

My plan is to sell both in exchange for some standard vRS seats, then get them retrimmed.

Either that of keep the GTi seats for retrim, but this is the more expensive route.

Mk2 Seats fit. I have them in mine. Look ace too! Rears fit also!

Mine were from a 2005 Polo.

Not sure on 2012 ones, probably best to try them to find out?

My understanding would be that if mk2 Fabia seats fit then so would 2012 Polo ones.

I think mk1 & 2 Fabia, mk4 & 5 Ibiza, mk 4 & 5 polo are all built on the same floor pan so should use the same seats....

Mark 6 and 7 Polos use the same 9N platform, which is same as the mark 1 fabia, so both fit no problem.

The new mark 8 is a slightly different platform, most likely the same as the mark 2 fabia. So if mark 2 seats fit then new polo ones should also.

I meant the latest Polos and wikipedia said that they were the mk 4 and 5 so i went with that

that said wiki also said that the mk3 Ibiza didn't exist and it was just a facelifted mk2

2002-2009 100% fit. These are referred to mark 6 and 7 if considering facelifts as mark changes (most polo owners do).

2010 and on is the newest model, which IF it shares the same platform as the mark 2 fabia, will also fit the mark 1 fabia.

So just need someone to confirm whether or not the newest polo and fabia share the same platform, then you get your answer.
