bought mine just after I turned 21, I'm 22 now.

Currently 52 years young and got the vrs because I wanted something to give me the power I want to use when I want it. Never been too impressed with Jap cars, hate BMWs, Jags are just rebadged Fords.

Just love my Skodas,im almost 64 bought my presnt VRs new on a 56 plate its now done 25k!! this is third VRs we have had its got all the googies including leather

Also have a Fabia Estate TDi,great cars you never have problems with these just make sure you look after them.

I'm 37, wanted a cheap(ish) run around as I work from home and often take the kids to and from school. Started looking at the usual small cars, fiesta/focus/golf etc but then I saw these and they appeared to be a reasonable performance bargain. Not ignorant enough to dismiss the badge either. Ended up with a banana mobile and I really really like it. Had 2 Hondas previously which I also loved but fancied a turbo.

got mine at the age of 23 had a jap car before this and was a great starter car but needed more power and have never looked back looked threw many cars and never thought i would come to love a skoda but dont knock them till u try them turbos FTW!!!!!!

Im 29 and bought vrs last year

I was 30 when I brought mine, owned for 4 years (which is a record for me). Recently sold but was a good 4 years

25, and I had one at 21 aswell

I am 22, baught mine last year when I was 21, I wanted something newer to replace my corrado vr6 was looking at leons, golfs etc but went for the vrs as there is a bit more character about them better interior etc with a few mods it makes it a very good all round car which I like.

I'm 24, but first bought a vRS when I was 22. Used to have a 20v Toledo, but I needed more power!

I'm 34 and just bought my first vrs

How the hell can all you lads under 25 afford the insurance!

I have 9yrs NCB and I'm still paying over £500 on it.

I got 4 years NCB, and it costs me just under 800 quid for the insurance.

43 going on 12, had mine 4 1/2 years, last renewal was £450, just cost me an extra £13 now i've been Shark'd. Didn't go out to buy a VRS, actually went to look at BMW740i, which was c**p, spotted the Octy and bought that insteademoticon-0100-smile.gif

i'm 31 an my insurance is £250 with max NCB

26 years old and got it last year...had 2 Escort GTi's all modded up since I learnt to drive, then had a Fabia vRS as a "sensible" car for a year. Got bored of the dieselness, as I missed having the petrol sound and driving experience but still wanted the torque of a turbo engine so looked at Golfs/Leons/Octavias and ended up with my vRS. Such a a nice car in comparison to everything else I have driven :)

I'm on £950 insurance at the moment with 7 yrs NCB, and the 3 points I won this year.

26 and had mine about 6 months now. my insurance is £550iirc

25, my insurance comes in under £600.

I bought it because it's good value, quiet and comfy on the motorway and a good balance of performance/fuel economy.

I'm 22 with 2 years NCB. Insurance was £900

Really happy with it, its a good all-rounder, quick etc. Although its not as fun as my previous MK2 Golf GTI. Yet.

Currently pay £560, when I was 21 (with 2yrs NCB) was £1100

Currently 36 and bought mine in Feb this year (was 35 then)

I don't think I'd buy another with all I've had to spend on it and do to it though, I must admit, although I still intend to keep it till the engine dies (hopefully at 56,000miles it's got a lot left to give)

I'm 27 got my vrs earlier this year, wanted an all round car power, comfort, good mpg, good size, reliable and mod cons. Love my vrs still puts a smile on my face never looked back, have 4 yrs NCB payed about £580 ish, and with the vrs it's having a car that's not that common.
