The DVLA will accept it. So what are last three digits? The first two are my initials. Clue?

If two of the "digits" are your initials then they are not digits, but letters. And it cannot be xx 12 xxx but it could be xn 12 xxx in which case it is actually x n12 xxx and that spacing is a legal requirement.
