I doubt you will find a pattern part, but with the power your running, I would stick with OEM in any case. Other option of course is a breakers yard.

I think I have one in the shed, but after breaking my nearside one at Santa Pod (seems to be the one that struggles compared to the longer offside one) I am keeping it for spares. I paid about £75 from a breakers yard from memory.

Definitely cupra 6 speed as I have a cupra 6 speed "stubby" driveshaft in my car now I broke the fabia one...

Not sure about golf 02M variants as might have "slightly" longer driveshafts if a bit wider track?

Replacing Front Grill Pre-FL - Any Tips?

Evening Briskoda brethren! Have been reading through old threads and one thing I've noticed is that replacing the front grill appears to be a bumper off job on the pre FL Octavia. Has anyone been able to figure out a way to replace the grill itself and/or have a guide to do it? Unfortunately my grill has a large crack along the middle. I can only imagine how much a dealer would quote for a new bumper. Thanks for your help in advance. !

This is a follow up to a previous question I posed recently. I had a 2008 vRS for over 12 years and really loved it before moving on to something different. Looking to getting back into vRS ownership again and toying with the idea of finding one with the 4x4 drive train. If anyone has been able to compare the two, is there a noticeable improvement in road handling with this variant? Thanks

Hi guys, I'm loosing my mind. 7 mechanics and no fix. 2022 2.0tsi Kodiaq (DNNA engine code) 40k miles Despite being under warranty, I'm already out of pocket £1550 because "there is nothing wrong with the car". Car spent a total of 18 working days across 3 garages. 2x Skoda dealers and 1x Independent Specialist place with outstanding feedback and a great bunch of guys. The issue. History is that since the coilovers were done, the front-left top mount has aways creaked on turning; classic top mount sound of juddering movement. I've tried rotating the spring a little in case that's a difference but I need to do try some more just to make sure I haven't forgotten anything. In the meantime, the front right has developed a creak which is different. It's a heavier creaky rubber feel to it which is triggered on minor movement/weight shift. Going over speedbumps obviously makes
