Col... perhaps merge the other threads in here... or maybe even a GT4 forum as i suspect its a topic that wont go away for some time....

If this is refering to the cars, i have to say there are some cars that have supprised me, for either good or bad reasons.

The Chyrsler Crossfire needs to be burnt. It has no brakes, cannot take a bend and high speed just isn't an option.

Another supprise was the Honda Prelude - last edition. Shocking handling indeed, whereas the S2000 is spectacular in every sense of the word !

The BMW M5 is no where near is driveable as the Merc E55 AMG.

But it may not be that realistic though. Anyone know for sure the facts about this game !?!?

P.S Anyone else noticed the old tracks have changed a bit ?

I won the Option tuning 350Z in the tuning cup, with a stg 4 turbo it goes up to 908 bhp.

205 mph on the standard gearset, just seems to dissregard corners though and plow straight on..lol.

what does everyone think of the ending movie... 350z @ the ring? makes me wanna go back..... (to see it you must win GT world championship... in pro events... = this unlocks the extreme events.)

Really should start playing this game shouldn't I.

got it on saturday and havent even bought a car yet :(

i really should make some time for the game...

btw... on lists that went round before the game was released there were a few cars from out beloved Skoda... i cant find them in GT mode so where are they !?

Unfort, those lists were speculation, however the PSP version is "meant" to have some of those in it, so just hope for skodas...

How do you guys find the time to play it so much? I bet you're all single or live with your parents etc..

GT4 came through my door on the day of release and I've only had time to do 2 licenses and 3 races :(

I reckon you could make some money on EBay selling a memory card with a GT4 save on it that had all the cars ;)

Goochie,

You got it in one, i am single and i do live with my parents :D, and my best mate is a game-aholic (I've booked 1st april off so we can play games until we pass out or are too drunk to drive the following day)

Someones going to put the save game online shortly with all cars (when they've done it) and it will be for the xfer equipment to transfer from your pc to memory card.

not single. homeless. drifting\from place to place with a ps2 and a giro.

Hi guys

I heard a rumor that when you get 2000 A-spec points a 'paint shop' is unlocked where you can respray your car etc

Is this true??? I have about 1300 points so far but i'm sure some of you guys have way more than 2000 (ad motorsport and ffelan!)

I hope its true anyway, would be very nice.

um unless im doing summat wrong i have found no paint shop...

internet rumours suck :thumbdwn:

Later in the game are there any more aftermarket alloys? As the ones you start with is the same alloy collection with gt3.

ANyone got any set up tips for the Nismo 400r?

Not for that car specifically im afraid...but i have found that increasing the positive camber on the rear wheels to about 3 or 4 degrees helped my lotus esprit turbo stop oversteering. Its quite a tricky car to drive.

I have also found that dropping the ride height to its lowest setting (like i used to on gt3) makes many gt4 cars handle awfully so i put them back up again. I guess this is more realistic.

Personally i always set all the driving aids to 0 as soon as a buy a car, nothing worse than the power cutting half way round a bend!

Is this the 1987 espirit? I found the handling very good indeed.

The ride height must be were I'm going wrong, I tend to drop the front and back quite a bit and stiffen up the dampers. Need to tweak it tonight as I just can't beat the NSX in the Japan Cup, although I did qualify on pole

the 400r is a poor handling car unless tuned to 600hp + far better to buy a used r32 and wind it up....

scoob sti r coupe is a good base also... set the diff back to 80% rear!

Did you alter the setup at all, be interested to get new ideas .

I do think the handling is good, it turns into the corner really well...but i found it difficult to change from one direction to the next quickly...the best example being the downhill corners just before the tunnel on midfield circuit....once i started turning right it didnt wanna know about the left hander...but that could me my driving

BTW sorry to go off topic but, does anyone know if you choose to put the hood up and down on convertibles? I'm thinking of buying an eclipse spyder and wanna get the top down on it

If I sell the "nike" concept car will I get anything for it? GT4 tells me "this car has no value attached do you want to dispose of it?"

in short, no :) Its really annoying but then again if it doesnt exist it cant have a value

true...just doin the 1000miles now

No it was a stock 1987 lotus esprit turbo.
