Car Vacuum Cleaner

Featured Replies

Want something that's fairly compact that gets into most of the tight gaps. We do have a Dyson but always frightened of it tipping over and hitting the car. Did this once years ago, there was no damage but don't want to risk it now.

I've got a handheld battery powered Dyson DC36. Very good to keep in the boot! I find that five minutes every couple of days to keep on top of the dirt is really manageable. It's very powerful too!

Always use an upright dyson. Never had a problem.

Do you mean DC16? Something like that I want. Any other suggestions?

My bad! Yep it's the DC16. It was £120 from Tesco. Money well spent though :)

I use a Henry - little thing on wheels with long hose and various fitments - very powerful, gets the job done easily and much cheaper than a Dyson.

I have 2 Henrys, a 240v for at home and a 110v for at work.

I often use my work one for clearing all sorts of building debris

inc plaster and various chiselled matter. Sucks up the lot no issues.

My work one has a GTI badge off of a mark 2 golf on it

The crevice tool is a bit big for beside the seats but I made my own one

and that works fine.

Henry trivia- They are made in Chard, Somerset.

Several years ago I bought the cheapest one in Tesco for £18 I use it for cleaning the cars only

1400w motor, various attachments. Pull it around behind you although one wheel has fallen off nowemoticon-0120-doh.gif

Cant beat a Henry been using one in my valeting business for over 5 years now without issue.

Was tempted by a Henry and may buy one in the future. In the end I went for a Black and Decker rechargeable one. It was on offer in ASDA for £12. Thought it was worth a punt for that. Has an attachment for narrow gaps as well as one for sucking up water too. Keep it in the boot and it's been good so far
