If you really want to, but I don't know

1 - how long they will last in harsh weather etc

2 - they will look pretty naff.... personal opinion - save some money and time and do it properly. You'll appreciate the look of it a lot more! :)

i might just stick them on temporarily as it's not gonna cost me anything. £14 is a lot of money to me, it will go towards some new wiper blades

I personally wouldn't even bother...It WILL look crap...you'll spend EASILY more than 14quid replacing the batteries as you will forget to turn them off...individually!! Cycle lights are not waterproof enough to be so close the road or for the speeds a car goes, they WILL fail..

It's not April Fools's Day.........

......is it :D

A big NO NO to this idea...

Sorry to say this seems rather unworkable.

If you cant afford a few quid to do it properly, your better of waiting until you can.

Good luck

You forgot the ironing board spoiler and fluffy dice. Give atleast another 10bhp.

I'm sorry but only one word comes to mind to describe this

CHAV

If you are looking for a use for the lights, why not try putting them on a bike :giggle:

We've already suggested not to do this... but it is YOUR car so if you want it to look home made then go for it.... Just don't expect people to give you good feedback...why not get an ironing board for your splitter hey?!

Don't waste your time buddy.

Which is a more important issue? A set of windscreen blades which is essential or something that's going to look like a bag of b*ll*cks. If u can't afford 14 quid how can you afford to run a car

tried fitting them but unfortunately the right hand side one won't fit due to the 'fake' vents

I think its a unfair for everyone to slag him off to be honest.

A bit of encouragement and a nod in the right direction would be better.

If you want to do this kind of thing the halfords specials will be far better and you can wire them to your side lights or something . Have a look at 32k of data's build thread you could place them in a similar way to his and make them look oem ish. Also a lot more cost effective
