just a quick question about Xenon HID kits.

I read that they are only legal if they are E marked

Which one is E marked and road legal ??

They are only strictly legal if you have self levellers and headlight washers too.

As above, unless they are factory fit or have self leveling and headlight washers then they will not pass the MOT. I have a HID kit fitted in my Octavia, luckily they have projector lamps as standard which is the correct type of housing for a xenon. When it comes to MOT time I will switch to halogen, then refit after. Ok so I will technically be breaking the law but I am willing to take the risk for the security of far superior lighting.

I would run a search for posts started by me, I had a major rant over this a while ago and there was a lot of feedback, good and bad including a lot of BS from the small collection of self righteous, holier than thou muppets that all forums attract.
